The Brief
As one of the leading professional associations within the financial sector the LIA are involved in setting up industry standards and are in the business of educating their members towards gaining the relevant accredation.
Over the past 14-15 years the LIA in Ireland has played a key role in improving the standards of professionalism amongst those who give and support financial service. They have worked closely with industry partners and with the Financial Regulator in expanding the services they provide. When LIA Ireland was established in 1993 their membership was 630. The number of individuals recently exceeded 5,300.
As part of their marketing strategy the LIA approached Nexus451 to assist in developing a new site which would achieve two things: increase brand awareness and give additional functionality to LIA administration staff to manage membership.
The Development
The existing site was dated, lacked functionality and visual appeal. Nexus451 worked with the LIA marketing team to revamp the brand's online presence, tying it in more closely with offline marketing collateral and working on developing an accessible information flow that would be intuitive to users.
In conjunction with the designing the visual language of the site Nexus451 was busy developing backend functionality, integrating with existing databases to maximise efficiency for the LIA administration staff. User facing content is updated and displayed using Caboodle Content Pro, Nexus451's own content management system (CMS).
Development milestones were agreed and met, on time and on budget.
The Result
The LIA brand has been enhanced in its online capacity to work as part of an overall corporate strategy. The functionality of the new site gives all LIA members and administration staff enhanced feedback. Individual members have their own login page and can see information which is relevant to them, and administration staff can manage and track membership details more accurately.
Client Testimonial
When it was time to overhaul our website we looked at a number of companies. We chose Nexus 451 as they seemed to really understand what we were about and how we worked. It’s a choice we’re glad we made – the new site works wonderfully and has been a resounding success.
The relationship that has developed between our two companies has allowed us continue developing new features for the website. Our aim is to give our members as much added value as possible, our ambition is matched by the expertise Nexus put at our disposal.
